    HOW IT ALL BEGAN
    Our brand also bears our name : LÄSSIG! This name stands for products that are impressive and inspire with their combination of design and function. We had questions: Do diaper bags always have to look like diaper bags? Why is motherhood always emphasized and not womanhood? Why can’t these functional bags be fashion accessories at the same time? Why not make bags of materials that parents really like and would want to use all the time? Our answers to these questions: We can make a difference!

    WE CARE
    As a family-owned company, we would like to take responsibility. This is why the issue of sustainability has always been an integral part of our corporate philosophy. Sustainable production is also becoming increasingly important to our customers – and sustainable products can only be created through the interplay of fair production, sustainable material selection and multifunctional applications. We want to be one step ahead of our customers' demands so that the quality of our products exceeds the statutory requirements. This means: fair production under compliance with strict quality guidelines, resource-conserving materials and innovative production procedures as well as social commitment.

    Our products are manufactured exclusively from harmless, pollutant-tested, innovative and high-quality materials. These include recycled polyester from PET bottles, GOTS certified organic cotton, water-saving substances and materials, where the manufacturing processes require special production methods needing fewer chemicals and where resources are conserved. We want to make sustainability transparent through certificates and test seals, including GOTS certification for organic cotton and the Oekotex 100 standard for the majority of textile products. Since 2017 LÄSSIG is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, the international standard for quality management.

    We understand sustainability as a process that we work on every day in order to continuously improve ourselves and thus further develop the LÄSSIG brand.
